„SCRAP“

SCRAP is a series of twelve formally identical paintings structured around repetition as a condition of labor.Produced within a fixed time frame of twelve consecutive days, the works follow a disciplined rhythm akin to factory attendance and scheduled working hours. The series adopts the logic of mechanical production, yet remains resolutely hand-made, allowing subtle deviations, fatigue, and temporal irregularities to surface within the system. These irreducible differences prevent true sameness and mark the limits of standardization.Gestural abstraction intersects with schematic figurative fragments, serial markings, and restrained textual elements, producing images that function as indexical records of work performed.Through this tension between system, time, and execution, Parasková foregrounds the persistence of human presence within processes modeled on industrial automation.
